The Great King

In the beginning, God made our world and everything in it and around it. This makes God the Great King of our world.

God puts the man and woman he made in a beautiful garden to live. God tells them to eat anything they want in the garden, except the fruit from one tree. But Adam and Eve disobey God. It’s a sad, sad day.

The great promises

Israel meets God, the Great King

The people of Israel were slaves in Egypt. But God, the Great King, rescued them from Egypt. God brought Israel through the sea and then God brings them to Mt Sinai. This is where Israel will meet with God.

The promised land

Israel asks for a king

Little Living Words B is the second year in a two-year program designed for children in the Early Childhood years. The sequence of lessons has been designed to tell the whole Bible story over a full year. The lessons in this package move right through the Bible and include lessons from the Old Testament stories of Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, 1 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings; 2 Chronicles, Ezra and Nehemiah; the Old Testament poetry of Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea and Jonah; the gospels of Mark, Luke and John; and the New Testament letters of Acts, Ephesians and 1 John.

Lessons have been thoughtfully developed to equip teachers in your children’s ministry to confidently teach the children in their classes. Each lesson includes online and downloadable formats and contains engaging activities and simple language suitable for younger children.
