He is risen! In the gospel of Mark, the angel tells the good news to the women who have come to care for Jesus in his death. And the good news of Jesus’ resurrection continues to be told. On Easter Sunday, we celebrate this good news—that Jesus suffered and died on a cross and rose again on the third day. He did this so that his people could have new life.
